Paddle.com Market Ltd is the Merchant of Record for every order placed through this site. Paddle is the seller on your receipt and holds the payment, which means refunds are issued by Paddle rather than by us directly.
You can approach either of us. We will pass a request to Paddle on your behalf, and we will support it.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days and receive a full refund.
There is one important exception, which applies to digital content everywhere it is sold: if you begin downloading, accessing or using the product within that period, and you acknowledged at checkout that doing so ends your withdrawal right, that right may be lost. You will be asked to confirm this before payment.
In practice, we would rather you were not stuck with something you cannot use — see the next section.
Paddle may issue refunds at its discretion, and we will support your request where:
We are less likely to support a request where the product has been worked through in full and the concern is that you did not get the business result you hoped for. The modules are tools; what you build with them depends on your own effort and circumstances.
We aim to respond within two business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Paddle typically processes them within a few business days, though how quickly the money appears depends on your bank or card issuer.
When a refund is issued, access to the refunded product ends. Work you saved in your own browser stays there, but you will no longer be able to open the product modules.
Every product can be previewed before purchase, so you can see the structure and a sample of the content before paying. We would always rather you previewed first than refunded later.
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where local consumer protection law gives you more than this policy does, that law applies.
Refunds, billing and access problems: hello@buildbymd.com, or Paddle at paddle.net.
